On EP. 114 Garret is back as he breaks down what it took for Jesus to fulfill his mission on the cross. We often fail to remember that Jesus was human with human emotions. Jesus endured pain physically and emotionally. He was a man with a mission, and he never flipped into “God mode” when things got tough. Jesus let nothing distract him from departing for Jerusalem. He knew his time was near. As a man of God, you too have a mission. What is your mission for today?

Men, we will never live up to what Jesus did. But we must not forget that God gives each one of us a mission
But, you have to quiet the noise to get some clarity, focus and direction from God
Once you understand that mission we must look to Jesus as our model
Jesus had a willingness to do the hard stuff
God calls each of us to be his vessels
To be a vessel requires obedience, it requires us to say no to other opportunities. It requires humility to do something we might not want to do
Our challenge to you today, posture yourself to receive God’s mission and don’t stray from the path
God’s plans have to be the foundation for what’s motivating us
