BACK WORKOUT

(R)ELATIONSHIPS

“And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others.”  (Romans 12:4-5 TPT)

As we reach the halfway pointI pray for the following:

  • You continue diving into your workouts and F.O.R.G.E. fuel
  • You are inspired
  • You are physically getting stronger
  • You begin to experience a new identity

This week, you will get devotional content FIVE days in a rowThe focus is all about relationships being ignited with your brothers. I will present real life examples of brotherhood in my life that emerged in a season when I needed it most. Each friend helped forge an impenetrable brotherhood within me, which is a great reminder – a man’s faith journey is not meant to be experienced alone.

Five years ago, I was isolated and working through some major healing and struggling to forgive. While it was difficult, I decided to step back into a church I had left a year prior, yet the people I needed most were not there

But I’m thankful for a God of divine timing, opportunities and second chances. chose to put myself out there, not knowing what the effects of my obedience would be. It was worth the risk! The Lord was already strategically preparing my soldiers to come along for the fight.

Men – sometimes we need to be the ones who go forward firstGod can bless our boldness and use it to forge a path for somebody else. We need friends with common interests to grow and learn with, and we need men who will contend for us in the valleys and on mountaintops. We need friends who will speak truth in love, help carry our burdens and provide authentic and honest accountability.

For today’s challenge:

  • Complete your workout for the day
  • Pray about the men in your life. Who do you need to connect with on a consistent, regular basis? Send text, grab a meal or make the phone call! (Maybe it’s even your brother you’ve been working out with!)
