My 2025 Goals
On our last blog, Five Practical Tips to Setting Your 2025 Goals, we had you think about what it looks like to set goals around your CORE5. Remember the CORE5 is your faith, family, friends, fitness and finances. We believe that these five things encompass a man’s responsibilities and life. When you find balance in your CORE5, you will begin to thrive.
It starts with building a strong foundation in your faith. It starts with God.
The new year is upon us, have you had time to write down your goals yet? You are 76% more likely to achieve your goal if you write down AND share it with a friend to hold you accountable. So, if you haven’t done it yet, write down your goals and share them with a mentor or friend. Here are my CORE5 goals for 2025. When goal setting remember to keep this acronym in mind, S.M.A.R.T. It stands for specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound
- Faith – Read my Bible every morning at 6:30 AM for 15 minutes. Starting the year in Matthew.
- Family – Go on a family walk every Friday at 4:30 PM
- Friends – Ashely and I will hang out with another couple 1x a month
- Fitness – Run 3-5 miles a day, 5x a week at 5:30 AM or 5:30 PM
- Finances – Have a budget meeting with my wife every Sunday
As you step into 2025, remember that setting goals is just the beginning—executing on these goals is what will make the difference. Whether it’s deepening your faith, or taking back your health, consistency is key. Let this be the year you thrive in every area of your life, and don’t forget—you’re not in this alone.
