Why Did God Call Me Here? 

It’s funny how most of the time, when we see God move in our lives, it’s often through reflections of the past?

Back in 2020, I had applied for a position which would allow me to join the team at Men of Iron. Despite already having a role within a company that was going well, I just wanted to be a part of what God was doing at MOI. I thought I was a strong candidate for the open role and even though the interview went seemingly perfect, the position was offered to someone else.

At the time, I didn’t understand what God was doing. It was only after joining MOI in June 2022 that I could reflect on how things would unfold and understand why I didn’t get the job in 2020. As it turned out, many of the initiatives I experienced with my previous employer, were ones that would directly impact my current role.

God knew what He was doing all along. 

I recall asking God in 2020 why things didn’t unfold as I expected. Maybe you’re in a position right now where you don’t understand why God has called you to your current workplace and/or the position that you’re in. Ask God to reveal His plan. He may or may not do that depending on the root cause for Him leading you there. However, I encourage you to do your best to learn and grow where you are. I believe one day you will look back and understand how God led you despite you not realizing it at the time.
