Mentorship
All throughout the Bible, men engage in mentorship. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Mentorship provides accountability, balance and spiritual growth needed to fulfill God’s plans for men’s lives. Mentorship matters because it births courage in men to take risks for the kingdom. Men need mentorship.
Biblical mentorship requires passion and willingness. Mentors have a passion to see a protégé move forward. They are willing to share their own experiences and provide accountability for a protégé to grow in his faith, family, friends, fitness and finances.
Protégés have a passion for accountability, balance and spiritual growth. They are willing to do whatever it takes to experience growth and take responsibility for leading the mentorship. They fully embrace taking risks for the kingdom.
Men of Iron provides options for men and men’s ministries to experience different mentorship models through our tools and training for growth in the areas of faith, family, friends, fitness and finances.
Level 1
Small Group Mentorship
Small group mentorship is a setting with 1 mentor and 5-12 protégés. It requires a Godly leader who takes initiative and invites other men into a purposeful mission with clear standards and expectations for the group. Men of Iron provides this level of mentorship to men through Anchoredman Bootcamp, Equilibrium or our 20 Lessons Series. Many mentors at this level are attracted to the idea of impacting multiple men at one time. Due to the number of protégés, accountability, balance and spiritual growth may only go so far, but small group mentorships can create lifelong friendships and often result in multiple men growing in their faith, family, friends, fitness and finances.

Level 2
Micro Group Mentorship
Micro group mentorship is a setting with 1 mentor and 2-3 protégés. It requires a mentor to lead the group, however, the protégés are willing to experience accountability, balance and spiritual growth at a deeper level than small group mentorship. Men of Iron provides this level of mentorship through our Anchoredman Bootcamp and Strong27™ experiences. Protégés understand they are being equipped to mentor in the future. In this setting, many protégés experience growth and go on to mentor their own micro group after their protégé experience.

Level 3
1-to-1 Mentorship
1-to-1 accountability is when a man is accountable to God and a mentor. 1-to-1 mentorship not only provides the highest degree of accountability but is also effective in helping a protégé restore balance and experience spiritual growth. Men of Iron provides this type of accountability to men through our Strong27™ Mentorship Experience. This program was designed for EVERY man who desires accountability, balance and spiritual growth. 1-to-1 mentorship is the most effective form of mentorship. Strong27™ requires a 12-month commitment with 2 meetings per month. Providing you the best opportunity to Know God, Know Your Purpose and Know Each Other.

Level 4
Executive Mentorship
Executive mentorships are similar to a 1-to-1 mentorship, however, they are designed for marketplace leaders looking for accountability, balance and spiritual growth, with an intentional focus on growing in their faith, family, friends, fitness and finances. Men of Iron provides this level of mentorship through our Executive Mentorship initiatives. This experience includes qualified and approved mentors/protégés with business experience and insight. All mentors/protégés at this level are selected and approved by Men of Iron’s board of directors. Executive mentorships require a greater financial investment than all mentorship levels.
