Justin Watkins

As Chief Generosity Mentor, Justin is responsible for developing and cultivating partnerships with individuals and businesses that move our mission forward. This includes fundraising campaigns, events and other opportunities for advocates to invest their time, talent and treasure for God’s Kingdom.

“In my careers as Youth Pastor, houseparent and an international organization, I’ve seen the positive and negative impact of when men are involved in their families and communities. Whether in church, secular or international settings, the reality has been clear across all cases, that God has called men into a distinct role.”

Justin studied youth ministry at Messiah College and served as a Youth Pastor in Millersville. Afterward, he and his wife were full-time houseparents at the Milton Hershey school. Returning to Lancaster in 2014, he was the Pennsylvania development representative for HOPE International before joining the MOI Team in 2018.

Justin and his wife Jenna have four kids, Jansen, Jera, Jaelynn, and Jax. They attend Willow Street Mennonite Church where Justin also serves as Director of Discipleship.

Justin enjoys playing basketball, the Chicago Bears, the Philadelphia 76ers, attending my kids sporting events- Jansen is a great basketball/soccer player, Jera likes playing soccer as well. He also enjoys board and card games.

Interesting fact about Justin: He is currently finishing his MA in Biblical Studies from Evangelical Seminary.
