Good Morning!

A man who spiritually leads his family is a servant-leader. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

This means you are tuned into your family’s needs and you’re concerned about their spiritual welfare. Yes, you should be putting more of an emphasis on reading the Bible and praying with your family rather than a travel baseball schedule or cheerleading competition.

Look for ways to help your family grow in their faith. And don’t be boring and religious in your approach. Have fun, laugh and be the man your family needs.

Your job is to provide physical support, grace and encouragement. Be ready to protect, help and defend.

You can be the spiritual leader your family needs if you’re strongly connected with God and you’re balanced in your commitments.

Family is big deal, guys. It’s time we act like it.

Session 2 is done, men. What are your 2-3 FAMILY goals/action steps? Share them with your mentor, protégé, micro group or small group. If you’re flying solo on this challenge, then be sure to post them on A Men of Iron Community on Facebook.

Stay tuned for Session 3 – Friends.

With Gratitude,

The Men of Iron Team
